Lon,

When creating a new marketing plan, I see I can add tasks, calls, emails, letters and appointments.  Is there any way I can drop a uniform "note" into a BCM history as well?

For instance "we are adding this client to this cycle today" or "met with the client today and reviewed the project"

What I have been doing is creating a "task" and then marking it complete.  Kind of a work-around.  Is there a way to drop a note into a record automatically?

Thanks Tom -- we're glad you like pinpoint Marketing tool.

There is a note entered into history when you apply the plan to the contact and another one when you send the email or letter to them. We don't have a way to add a note, per se. I guess you could create a new Plan and have the title of the plan be the "note". When you apply the plan, it should write a history entry in that would include that "note".
