I downloaded and installed Pinpoint Financial Advisor with the following results:
1) The the end of the installation when I ran the pinpoint deployment tool I received the following message: "Custom views cannot be imported"
The installation exited and I started Outlook. I received the "Welcome to Pinpoint Financial Advisor" splash screen, however, the system never asked me for my registration code. Additionally, as expected, none of the customized views were present.
An attempt to start the pinpoint marketing tool resulted in the message:
"The micosoft jet database engine cannot open the file "C:\Documents and Settings\10145532\My Documents\My pinpoint messages\pinpoint marketing tool.mdb" it is already open excusively by another user or you need permission to view its data.
Any attempt to navigate to the local directories and open the files individually is also met with some type of permission error. I attempted to uninstall and reinstall the software, but again was informed that I didn't have the correct permissions to uninstall.
I am attempting to install on a Dell Latitude D630 running Windows XP Pro SP2, Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2007 with Outlook Business Contact Manager 2007.
Any suggestions you can provide would be appreciated.
