I understand that synchronizing with BCM through a VPN should be possible. Are there any VPN solutions that are easily implemented? Thanks

Yes, there are some simple software solutions out there plus more robust hardware solutions that are integrated with routers. You could find a network or infrastructure specialist in your area that could help you get it going pretty inexpensively. That said, BCM's weakest feature is this synch with a VPN and it doesn't perform well with large databases.
