Move PinPoint database to new Windows 7 computer

I'm looking for the steps to move my PPT for BCM 2007 from my WinXP machine to my Win7 machine. I tried to install PPT on the Win7 machine and received an error: "Unable to save file C:\\Windows\Downloaded Installations\{80CCC562-0376-436A-8BA2-4D6F29 Marketing tool.msi The system cannot find the path specified." Can you help? Thanks!

This error is usually due to User Account Control permission being ON.  Go into the Control Panel and User Accounts and turn it off.  Next, make sure you download PMT and Save it to your PC, instead of choosing Run when it starts to download.

After you get it installed, you can move the My pinpoint Messages folder (and sub-folder) in your My Documents folder to the same place on your new PC.  The pinpoint Marketing tool.MDB file is where your Plans and Activities are stored. 

One thing to note, make sure you name your User the same on your new PC as your old one.
